If you have your contacts stored in a Desktop application, spreadsheet or a database, you can likely export out a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file. Consult the help in your application to find out how to export a CSV file.

You will want to end up with a file that has four (4) columns and no header. The columns you need are:

  • First Name
  • Last Name

 Distribution Lists

Distribution Lists are a way to group contacts in your Address Book to later use when sending out email requests. You can create a Distribution List by selecting from your Address Book or by using Tag words assigned to each of your contacts.  In the scheme of things, tagging your contacts is more flexible and less work to maintain - our recommendation is to go with the tags.
